About the Role
Insight Data Solutions is a business within a business - using technology to drive efficiency and transparency around land valuations, leveraging new digital capabilities that will minimise bottlenecks and create process efficiencies in delivering valuations for Government entities e.g. council owned properties and land.
Through our unique mix of robust technology and comprehensive industry expertise, IDS enables governments, corporates and consumers to meet their property valuation needs.
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in the improvement of Government services through innovation, as we create the national property platform for Government. Working with Product & Engineering teams, you’ll drive the successful implementation of VM Online - our Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) software, to Victorian Government from planning to delivery, and support an ongoing roadmap of upgrades and releases with the help of project and support teams.
12 month contract.

In a typical day you can expect to:
Lead end-to-end delivery of our SaaS implementation projects for government clients - owning scope, timelines, budget and quality while keeping everyone aligned and informed.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering and PMO teams to deliver high-impact outcomes using our hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery practices.
Act as a trusted client-facing advisor - building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring each project delivers real business value and ROI.
Drive governance and reporting frameworks that give clarity and confidence to our PMO and Executive teams.
Identify, manage and mitigate risks, issues and change requests - keeping projects moving smoothly and transparently.
Track project performance, financials and success metrics - documenting milestones and ensuring benefits are realised in line with the business case.
Plan and coordinate release activities - managing cross-team dependencies, resolving challenges and communicating release impacts clearly.
Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture - embedding best practice, encouraging engagement and helping shape the future of government property technology.

Our Ideal Person:
ESSENTIAL:
A Bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
Proficient in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience delivering to Government or large corporate clients.
Experiencing working closely with Product and Technical teams.
Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Lean methodologies.
Superior communication and relationship management skills.
Highly productive, with the ability to lead and work both independently and as a team member.
NICE TO HAVES:
Agile Scrum or similar Project Management certification (preferred).
