Project Controller – Services Cost

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controller within Services Cost. In this role you will be responsible for helping Civil Aerospace generate more cost opportunities to meet and beat the committed targets.

The successful candidate will work across various Civil Aerospace teams (eg Aftermarket Operations, Value Streams) to help ensure integration between teams and promote standardised ways of working. You will have responsibility for the governance of key Service Cost improvement projects. Ensuring regular monitoring, reviewing and reporting of the status of the projects in accordance with the relevant process.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To help reduce our service costs: Support the delivery of the Service Cost improvement programme focused on improvements to our ways of working, providing governance and reporting where necessary
  • Support the development of new digital Service Cost tools and the transition to these tools
  • Support definition and development of the Service Cost Operating Model to enable efficient and effective delivery of Service Cost. Develop the model in tandem with the Shop Visit Cost workstream owners to capture best practice to help people deliver more effectively.
  • Support the development and improvement of key Service Cost processes e.g. CORB, CRP and 5YP.
  • Contribute to the development of world class ways of working for our Service Cost teams

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Derby grade 7 to 10.

This job is advertised at the grades shown, and this is the desired operating level for this role.
