About the role:
The Director Account Management, Occupier Services is responsible for leading select strategic Client accounts nationally, regionally, and globally as part of the Account Management team for Enterprise Clients in Canada. Provide proactive advice to clients while actively managing transactions (e.g. Acquisitions, Dispositions, Sales, Subleases, Sale-leasebacks, etc.) and the local brokers. Deliver exceptional service and proactive market intelligence to clients while leading transaction management activity. Diligently and accurately manage and forecast the fee revenue pipeline to support the business. Play a role in the ongoing improvement of the Account & Transaction Management service line, focusing on the implementation of best-in-class tools, technology, and process disciplines.
Support the Executive Managing Director, Occupier Services in the continued evolution of overall client service objectives, policies and plans as they pertain to the service line.
Evaluate and engage local brokers, actively lead the transaction process and be accountable for the results of each transaction
Clearly understand the client’s portfolio and proactively advocate for strategic initiatives like Workplace Strategy, Flexible Office, Metro Studies, etc. to spur opportunities that reduce costs, take advantage of attractive markets, raise efficiency.
Ensure financial analyses to clients are accurate and delivered timely, outlining complex options as needed. Demonstrate familiarity with IFRS lease accounting issues and the impact of negotiating strategies on client’s cost structures
Forecast transaction activity on a 24–36-month basis and proactively manage transaction fee revenue forecasting and receivables.
Act as senior relationship manager for select clients. Regularly utilize CRM and other appropriate technology to maximize the use and accuracy of data Demonstrate an excellent ability to identify potential service enhancements for the client – Project Management, Workplace Strategy, Supply Chain Consulting, etc. – that will strengthen the partnership over time.
Oversee Lease Administration, Strategy and Innovation, Technology Services, Project Management, Facilities Management, and/or Transaction Management staff and resources that exist on client accounts for which this role is responsible.
Actively engage with clients to continuously evolve the partnership, highlighting accomplishments, strategic priorities, and innovation to proactively problem solve and provide solutions. Lead presentation and discussion at regularly scheduled business reviews
What you bring:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or similar field preferred.
Minimum 12 - 20 years’ experience in providing comprehensive and integrated corporate services, including at least 10 years directly involved with transaction management
Excellent negotiating skills
Technology proficiency
Strong skills in the following areas: business management, human relations, financial analysis, budgeting, relationship building, time management, planning and organizing, written and verbal communications
The ability to work under pressure, perceive problems and react quickly and proactively to provide solutions
CoreNet Global: Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation preferred

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $151,500 to $170,000 CAD.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
