Project Controller

At FLSmidth, we are building a more sustainable future for the mining industry, and we are looking for a Project Controller to help deliver that mission on a major Rio Tinto capital project in Welshpool.

You will join a collaborative, safety-first team where your expertise in planning, scheduling, and cost control will help ensure predictable, high-quality project outcomes from design through commissioning.

Your impact

• Drive schedule integrity using Primavera P6 & MS Project
• Enable cost control and accurate forecasting
• Identify risks early and support informed decision-making
• Partner with engineering, procurement, finance, and site teams
• Strengthen transparency and performance reporting
• Contribute to safe, sustainable project delivery

What you will bring

• Experience in project controls within mining or heavy industry
• Strong planning, scheduling, and cost control capability
• Advanced Excel and project controls system experience (Epicor highly regarded)
• A collaborative, proactive, and detail-focused mindset
• Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
