Job Summary: You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Equipment Modernization and Integration Directorate of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

Major Duties:

  • You will have the primary responsibility to keep abreast of new developments within C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) technology disciplines as they relate to assigned projects.
  • You will provide technical background, analysis, assessment, research, and advice to command leadership for C5ISR systems that may be impacted by the installation and integration of new systems.
  • You will analyze risks of maturity elements to determine operational necessity and readiness of C5ISR systems to be installed onboard ships in the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets.
  • You will maintain quality control standards for Navy Modernization on all C5ISR installations afloat and follow up will affected installations and units to ensure directorate decisions and recommendations are disseminated, understood and executed.
  • You will lead the analysis and assessment of installation package reviews to resolve specific modernization issues.
  • You will conduct direct coordination and interface with all levels of command and their technical specialists to resolve specific modernization issues and recommend solutions.
  • You will be inherently familiar with the Navy Modernization Process and its policies.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Conducting in-depth technical analyses of complex, integrated technology systems to determine how new and upgraded technologies will impact overall system performance; 2)Coordinating system installation and modernization initiatives across cross-functional stakeholders, including program leadership, technical specialists, and operational teams to ensure alignment and execution; 3) Analyzing reports related to system installations, modernization progress, and quality assurance to identify operational risks and ensure project success; 4) Developing detailed assessments, providing actionable recommendations, and preparing formal waiver documentation for senior leadership concerning system installations and modifications; 5) Researching emerging technologies to evaluate their effect on system compatibility and overall operational effectiveness.
