Process Operation and Optimization: Safely and efficiently manage assigned processes to achieve daily quality, production, and productivity targets. This includes effectively prioritizing daily tasks in collaboration with Production Supervisors.
Safety Leadership and Compliance: Actively drive a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" through all actions and communications.
Emergency Response (ER) Team Membership: Serve as an active member of the ALAM Emergency Response team, which includes being qualified as an ER entry team member. This requires the ability to successfully use a tight-fitting full-face respirator.
Compliance and Procedure Adherence: Maintain a deep understanding and strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions (WI).
Equipment Handling: Perform the assembly and disassembly of production equipment necessary for process setup and changeovers.
Basic Maintenance: Execute basic maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
Analytical Testing: Possess the ability to operate analytical equipment for in-process testing and final product validation, ensuring product specifications are met.
Training and Development: Successfully complete all assigned training modules to maintain necessary skills and compliance.
Goal Achievement: Execute and complete annual personal goals that align with both plant-wide strategic objectives and individual professional development.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with peers on approved, functional tasks to support overall team and production continuity.
Resource Utilization: Understand and utilize the Learning Resources available for all assigned processes.
1. Minimum Nitec in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent for fresh graduates.
2. 1-3 years experience in a process operations environment as a process or production technician, handling chemicals or other hazardous material.
3. Fluency in written and verbal communication in English.

Ability to work on rotating shifts.
Demonstrated positive attitude and safety-first attitude.
Demonstrate ability to obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations.
Ability to learn technical chemical processes quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to interact effectively with others to accomplish daily tasks and achieve the plant's goals.
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in written and verbal formats with stakeholders at multiple levels in the business.
Ability to perform technical troubleshooting to resolve process issues.
Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure and changing priorities.
Ability to operate forklift and other mobile elevated working platforms would be advantageous.
