Product Services Officer – Trent XWB

Derby / Hybrid - 3 days on-site

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Service Officer to join the Trent XWB Value Stream Team.

The Trent XWB powers the Airbus A350 family. With over 700 aircraft in service and a huge business case to deliver for the A350 Freighter this area of the business is experiencing significant growth. The XWB product is expected to become the largest fleet in Civil aerospace both in terms of fleet size and financial value to Rolls-Royce.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will support the integration the overall Trent XWB fleet performance across the Trent XWB value stream team, Aftermarket Operations and Supply chain teams, as well as:

  • Support creation of the fleet policies, including technical removal drivers such as Time on Wing cycle limits for HPTBs and Life Limited Parts.     
  • Own the management of fleet wide campaigns to deliver safety, reliability and performance modifications to our customers. 
  • Support the Engine Service Team demand signal for maintenance event planning, as part of the SIOP process. This includes Overhaul Base and In-Field events.                                      
  • Working in conjunction with Aftermarket Operations and supply chain vendors, identify risk and opportunity to deliver the MRO rate expected through our network.
  • Lead the Value Stream integration of NMSB development, ensuring policies are understood and can be suitably supported by our supply chain and customers.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of Services, MRO or Operations within RR.
  • Understanding of Product Time on wing drivers and fleet health.
  • Knowledge of RR MRO network and MRO practices.
  • Understanding of RR customer network and regional teams

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be SNBG 7 - 10.
