You will work in collaboration with Global IT, R&D, and Compliance Teams, will provide dedicated support to the sales process by addressing customer cybersecurity requests and inquiries. This position is responsible for managing customer cybersecurity questions with clear, accurate, and compliant information on product security features, patching practices, vulnerability management, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
What will you be doing?
- Role will collaborate will leverage internal tools, templates, and procedures to collaborate closely with the product security team, as well as other subject matter experts across Information Security, IT, and R&D, with the objective of ensuring timely, accurate, appropriate, and thorough answers to any customer cybersecurity questions during the pre-sales process, as well as during customer follow-up audits.
- You will support the creation of repeatable artifacts that can be used to streamline and support the sales process, such as FAQs, MDS2s, whitepapers, and other marketing material.
- You will be responsible for sharing the pre-sales feedback with new product development efforts to ensure any field feedback is incorporated into future planning in a consistent forum with clearly defined metrics.
- Questionnaires - Responding to customer inquiries, questionnaires, and other RFP requests by reaching out to the appropriate internal subject matter experts in some cases, but primarily by leveraging the artifacts and repositories of information gathered.
- Artifacts - manage the creation, reviews, and approval of customer-facing cybersecurity artifacts.
- Program Development - maintain a strategy with the appropriate communication templates, metrics, and procedures that manage internal stakeholders and ensure a multi-year strategic plan for growth and improvement.
- Tools - Manage, tune, and configure applicable tooling that supports this function.
- Contracts - reviewing and aligning customer contractual language with internal practices and capabilities.
- Feedback loop - sharing field feedback with the new product development teams.
What will you need to be successful?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Licenses/ Certifications: Current CISM or equivalent certification preferred.
- Operating Mode: Work from office – Hybrid, 2 days in a week.
- Experience: Proven relevant experience of 2+ years hands-on hands-on cybersecurity experience, product/device security, application security, or IT information security.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and features.
- Experience with medical device manufacturing practices preferred. IT Risk and Vendor Risk Assessments.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standard frameworks such as HIPAA, FDA, ISO 27001/2, NIST CSF, and OWASP.
- Understanding of network infrastructure, including firewalls, web proxy, and/or email architecture- particularly as they apply in a mitigating control functionality.
- Ability to design, recommend, plan, guide, and support the implementation of a program. Understand the current Medical Device market, including what customers want to see regarding product security.
