Title: Product Owner – Engagement Portal

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the customer and partner engagement platform, ensuring it serves as a pivotal digital enabler for achieving business targets.
  • Contribute to a clear product vision, program backlog and product release planning
  • Groom the product backlog into user stories and product iterations to feed the implementation team(s)
  • Drive platform adoption and engagement by ensuring a superior user experience that aligns with strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure platform features support business goals and foster customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for platform initiatives.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive development efforts and successful platform implementation.
  • Continuously assess platform performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Promote user-centric design principles to ensure the platform effectively meets the needs of customers and partners.
  • Support Rolls Royce Power System’s growth initiatives by leveraging the platform to enhance self-service capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a safety and compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct
  • Perform special assignments as required

Basic Requirements: 

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years’ experience in product management with emphasis on digital platforms and user experience; or 9 years’ experience in product management with emphasis on digital platforms and user experience.
  • Travel – domestic and international (20%, possibly on short notice)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent track record in managing technical projects, including budget oversight and delivery within established timelines.
  • Excellent experience as a digital product owner with Web and Mobile applications, proficient in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies to manage the development lifecycle.
  • Excellent experience in enhancing user experience and driving platform adoption.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and platform development processes.
  • Strong ability to align platform features with strategic business objectives.
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on user-centric design and innovative solutions.
  • Comfortable communicating in German, both verbally and in writing.
