Teledyne e2v Semiconductors SAS, located in Saint-Egrève (near Grenoble), has been a semiconductor specialist since 1955.
Our 400‑employee site brings together research and development teams, production workshops, and support functions for two main business areas :
- Machine Vision Sensors (MVS Division) for image sensors, dental sensors, and cameras.
- High-Performance and High-Reliability semiconductor products (Semiconductors Division) : microprocessors, memories and high‑speed data converters.
Job description
We're hiring a Product Marketing Engineer for Semiconductors Division.
The Product Marketing Engineer is responsible for driving the end‑to‑end strategy, market positioning, and business performance of the DPS product line.
This includes portfolio definition, roadmap management, go‑to‑market execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Sales, Finance, and MarCom teams.
The role requires a strong understanding of semiconductor technologies and of their applications in Space, Defense, and Avionics systems.
What You’ll Do
Strategic & Portfolio Management
- Define and manage the product roadmap over a 24‑month to multi‑year horizon.
- Build and justify R&D investment proposals with clear value propositions and differentiated positioning.
- Conduct competitive and market analyses to guide strategic decisions.
- Monitor technologies trends and contribute to long-term strategic orientations for DPS.
New Product Introduction & Marketing Execution
- Prepare and execute launch plans for new products, including messaging, positioning, and communication strategy.
- Develop sales enablement tools and product documentation (value propositions, presentations, videos, training modules).
- Coordinate with MarCom to ensure consistent, high‑quality visibility for the product line.
- Ensure product pages, datasheets, and collateral are up-to-date and aligned with customer expectations.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Train global Sales and distribution networks on product features, positioning, and use cases.
- Support design-in activities and customer engagements worldwide.
- Participate in conferences, industry events, and press interactions as a representative of the DPS product line.
- Conduct regular visits to key customers in America, Europe, and Asia.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Application Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Contribute to pricing committee discussions with competitive insights.
- Support interactions with institutional partners (CNES, ESA, DGA, EDA, European Commission).
- Participate in public funding initiatives and collaborative innovation programs.

Requirements
Experience
- Confirmed experience in product marketing within the semiconductor or electronic systems industry.
- Strong understanding of target markets: Space (commercial, institutional, defense), Military Electronics, and Avionics.
- Experience with roadmap methodologies, business case development, and financial justification (NPV).
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C2 level).
- Ability to articulate clear product value propositions and strategic narratives.
- Strong analytical capabilities and structured problem‑solving approach.
- Capacity to lead cross-functional initiatives in a multicultural, international environment.
- Comfortable interacting with customers, partners, agencies, and press.
