The Job: The Product Manager for DC Comics will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of technology products and platforms that support DC Comics’ publishing, licensing, and digital initiatives. This role bridges business needs and engineering execution, ensuring products are innovative, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Product Strategy: This role partners with Portfolio Management Leads, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define strategic vision and roadmaps for DC Comics technology products. Responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting user-centric requirements, and organizing them into a clear, actionable product backlog that delivers incremental business value. The Product Manager ensures consistent product experiences across user controls, data definitions, business logic, and intuitive UI/UX.

Change Management, User Acceptance & Adoption: This role champions a user-first approach, ensuring end-user needs are understood and addressed. It guides users through system changes, facilitates training, and ensures completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, this role will work with our Change Management team to develop and communicate stakeholder analyses and adoption plans that support successful implementation. They work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver user training along with the Change Management team. 

Continuous Delivery: Drives product and process enhancements that maximize business value and ROI in existing products. Collaborates with business stakeholders, business analysts, architects, project managers, and developers to deliver strategic technical solutions. Defines and tracks KPIs to measure product success and user adoption of new features.

The Essentials

  • 8+ years implementing technology solutions as Sr. Business Analyst or Product Manager

  • Experience in Media and Entertainment 

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end product management deliverables including stakeholder analysis, product visions, product roadmaps, product requirements, prioritized product backlogs, release plans, release notes.

  • Experience guiding functional team members in delivering best-in-class deliverables including:

    • Stakeholder Analysis

    • Use Cases

    • User Journey Map

    • Product Vision Statements

    • Product Roadmaps

    • Product Backlogs

    • Sprint Backlogs

    • Product Requirements: Business Requirements Documentation, Persona-based User Stories with clear and concise acceptance criteria

    • Functional Design Specifications & Wireframes

    • Test Cases & Scripts

    • Training Manuals (for future state system processes)

    • Post-delivery Release Note

  • Experience with Agile framework and tools 

  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences 

  • Self-motivation; enthusiasm for challenging work

  • Ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively with a matrixed team

  • Experience building positive collaborative relationships with all team members 

  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; able to work with all levels of the organization and coach team members.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 

  • Functional knowledge of these applications is preferred:

    • Microsoft Dynamic 365 Business Central

    • Jira & Confluence

    • Monday.com

    • MS O365 Office (Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)

Not Required but preferred experience: 

  • Experience with media and entertainment consumer products, especially publishing.

  • Familiarity with publishing workflows and product lifecycle management.

  • Experience with customized ERP applications and data infrastructure design.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $121,100.00 - $224,900.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
