Who You Will Work With:
The vacant Product Business Management, Lead role will report to the Group Head, Product. The Product Business Management Lead is a strategic and operational partner who enables the Product leadership team to operate at scale. This role drives alignment across product strategy, execution, operating rhythm, and cross-functional priorities, ensuring focus on the most critical outcomes.
Acting as an extension of the Group Head of Product, this role combines strategy, business operations, execution oversight, and leadership enablement. The Product Business Management Lead ensures clarity of priorities, rigor in decision-making, and effective communication across senior stakeholders, while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Enablement & Product Leadership Support
Partner closely with the Group Head of Product to shape, operationalize, and advance product strategy, priorities, and long-term objectives.
Act as a thought partner on strategic initiatives, synthesizing complex information into clear options, recommendations, and decision points.
Support preparation for executive, Board, and senior leadership forums, including briefing materials, narratives, and follow-ups.
Product Operating Rhythm & Execution Oversight
Establish and maintain the Product organization’s operating cadence, including planning cycles, quarterly business reviews, OKRs, and leadership forums.
Track progress against product priorities, strategic initiatives, and key outcomes, surfacing risks, trade-offs, and interdependencies early.
Ensure follow-through on decisions and commitments, coordinating across leaders to unblock issues and maintain momentum.
Business Management & Portfolio Insight
Provide portfolio-level insight into product performance, investment allocation, capacity, and outcomes, supporting data-informed decision-making.
Partner with Finance and Product leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and investment trade-offs across the product portfolio.
Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting that connect strategy to execution and outcomes.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Stakeholder Management
Act as a connective layer across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Commercial, Data, and other partners to drive alignment and coordinated execution.
Support complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple product areas or organizational boundaries.
Proactively manage stakeholder communication, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across senior leadership.
Organizational Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve Product ways of working, governance, and decision-making effectiveness.
Support organizational design, role clarity, and capability initiatives in partnership with Product leadership and HR.
Drive continuous improvement by introducing lightweight processes, tools, or frameworks that improve focus and execution.
Leadership, Influence & Trusted Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Group Head of Product, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and influence.
Lead by influence rather than authority, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with confidence and pragmatism.
Model strong communication, collaboration, and leadership behaviors aligned with company values.
What You Bring:
8–12+ years of experience in product management, strategy, business operations, consulting, or related roles in complex organizations.
Strong understanding of modern product development, portfolio management, and cross-functional delivery models.
Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
Exceptional communication, synthesis, and stakeholder-management skills.
High degree of business acumen and comfort with metrics and financial concepts.
Experience operating in environments with ambiguity, scale, and change.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
What We’re Offering:
The hiring range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
