Job Description:
Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Process Operator. The purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently operate the plants as part of the Operational Team, whilst maintaining quality and productivity requirements. The position will involve activities and task associated with the plant and warehousing areas of the site. The site currently operates on a 8 hour day work pattern.
This a position will be based in Deer Park, Australia.
As Process Operator, you will:
• Strong focus on safety and environmental performance.
• Commitment to quality and productivity.
• Commitment to acquire new skills and learn the process functions of the plants.
• Ability to work individually and with team members and progress in a graded level structure.
• Monitoring and controlling plant process.
• Assist with maintenance
• Troubleshooting and Process Improvement within team.
• A commitment to safety
• A current High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation
• Systematic work patterns
• Mechanical aptitude
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Intermediate computer skills and data entry
• Ability to work in a team environment.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Petrochemicals; Batch Plant Operation; DCS systems; SAP system, Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement and supervisory experience would be highly regarded.
