Process Manager - Legal Recovery

Position Summary:

Responsible for optimizing and enhancing processes within the legal recovery collection functions by reviewing existing processes for breakdowns, inconsistencies, rework and presenting results and potential solutions to senior management to drive continuous improvement towards the department’s strategic growth path. This role will focus on driving efficiency, reducing costs, ensuring compliance, and improving the overall effectiveness of recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews all state process documentations and ensures processes are streamline and consistent with each state

  • Identifies any missing elements that could cause process gaps and inventory to accumulate

  • Reviews and creates exception reports as needed

  • Remediates off track accounts by working with leaders and analytics team

  • Ensures all standard operating procedures are consistent and continuous with workflows and documents and various other state requirements

  • Works with operations managers and senior management to identify and solve issues; submit tickets to improve processes

  • Influences new and ongoing workflow and documents buildouts to ensure effective process design is implemented

  • Identifies and implements automation tools that can enhance process efficiency and accuracy

  • Independently leads small to medium scale projects to conclusion

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required, Associate's degree preferred.

  • 1-3 years in a Data Analyst Role

  • Six Sigma Knowledge/Certification is a plus

  • Implementation of process improvement frameworks and methodologies

  • Experience in managing small-scale projects from inception to completion

  • Must be proficient in Windows, Outlook, and Word

  • Must have intermediate or advanced knowledge in Excel

Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers. The office environment is an open workspace with individual workstations. The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. This position is a sedentary position with seldom to occasional lifting of less than 11 pounds; requires frequent lifting of less than 1 pound; and may require standing less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.
