The Process Architect Consultant is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving MediCard’s enterprise-wide process architecture, standards, and redesign discipline. This role establishes the enterprise process framework, taxonomy, and modeling standards that guide all process redesign initiatives. It ensures that process transformation across business units remains consistent, compliant, measurable, and automation-ready, serving as a critical upstream capability to the Automation & AI Enablement COE and the 2026–2028 Transformation roadmap.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Define and govern the enterprise process architecture framework, including taxonomy (L2–L4), modeling standards, and design principles to establish a single source of process truth across MediCard. (20%)
• Provide architectural oversight and approval for process redesign initiatives, ensuring that end-to-end process designs align with enterprise frameworks, standards, and cross-functional integration requirements. (15%)
• Lead enterprise-level process discovery and standardization for priority domains (Claims, Provider, Finance, Digital), establishing reference models that guide detailed design activities performed by Process Engineers and analysts. (15%)
• Design and approve target-state process architectures using lean and value-driven principles, ensuring processes are scalable, efficient, and structured for automation enablement. (15%)
• Embed regulatory, audit, and risk requirements into enterprise process standards, working closely with the Process Compliance Manager to ensure governance alignment. (10%)
• Certify and approve processes for automation readiness, serving as a formal architectural gate for initiatives entering the Automation & AI COE intake pipeline. (10%)
• Align enterprise process designs with strategic platform transformations (i.e., PAS, Claims Core, NAV Replacement, MedGo) through coordination with IT Architecture, PMO, and transformation programs. (10%)
• Guide and mentor Process Engineers, Process Analysts, and BPM Analysts, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, consistent methodology application, and capability development. (5%)

KPIs
• % of priority processes standardized and BPM-certified
• Reduction in process variation, rework, and manual exceptions
• Cycle time and error rate improvement on redesigned processes
• Time to certify processes for automation readiness
• Audit findings related to process design or control gaps
