Private Equity Overview:

Alantra Private Equity is the pre-eminent PE manager in Iberia with more than 25 years of market experience. Alantra PE invests in mid-market companies, a segment encompassing companies valued at between €50 million and €500 million.

Key figures of the division are as follows:

  • 15 investment professionals in Spain with over 150 years of aggregate experience
  • €0.9 Bn Assets under Management
  • Over 100 investments in all the sectors of the Iberian economy
  • 13 portfolio companies

Role Description:

Successful candidates will take a proactive role in the analysis and execution of different investment opportunities as well as in investor relations and the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies.

  • Financial analysis and modeling: develop financial models to support investment decisions. This includes preparing valuation models, sensitivity analysis, and forecasts. Candidates will also support due diligence and investment materials.
  • Deal execution: conduct market research, industry analysis and support transaction processes.
  • Portfolio monitoring: track financial and operational performance of portfolio companies and prepare regular reports.
  • Investor relations & fundraising: assist in the preparation of investor materials and ongoing reporting, together with other strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

Role Requirements:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in Private Equity, Strategic Consulting, Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory Services (TAS).
  • Excellent English (written and spoken). Other languages would be a plus.
  • Experience in sector analysis, financial analysis, valuations, business plans and investment presentations and reports.
  • Excellent usage of Microsoft Office, financial and markets databases (SABI, Refinitiv/Eikon, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and Factset).
  • Commitment, drive and the capacity to show initiative.
  • Attention to detail and impeccable communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Immediate availability.
