Mō te Tūranga – About the role
You will manage and retain a portfolio of non‑advised Private Wealth clients, delivering a professional, personalised service and proactively supporting their financial goals. You’ll understand each client’s aspirations, identify future needs, and tailor solutions that help them achieve long‑term outcomes.
You’ll work closely with your Associate Private Banker to maintain a strong operating rhythm, while also building relationships across the business and wider professional networks to support growth. You’ll contribute to the Private Bank business plan by identifying new‑to‑bank opportunities, deepening existing relationships, and maintaining accurate client records.
You’ll be an experienced lender with strong credit capability, confident supporting clients with substantial assets, complex structures and sophisticated borrowing needs. You’ll understand the full suite of banking products and services and use these to deliver an exceptional client experience.

5+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally lending‑based or investment based.
Experience supporting high‑net‑worth clients or those with complex financial needs
Strong financial acumen, including interpreting financial statements and understanding markets, risk and economic conditions
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills with proven internal and external networks
Strong operating rhythm, attention to detail and a compliance‑focused mindset
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Certificate in Financial Services - Investment Strand, or equivalent (preferred).
