We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Priority Assist Connect – Senior Network Engineer, reporting to the Manager Priority Connections and Critical Services.
A bit about your role
The Priority Assist Connect – Senior Network Engineer role is a case management office-based role who manages complex activation cases for Priority Assist and Vulnerable Customers within a strict 24-hour SLA. It involves end-to-end case management, proactive troubleshooting, and coordination with RSPs, delivery partners, technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities include resolving escalations, monitoring post-connection performance, driving process improvements, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to support vulnerable customers effectively.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate has technical expertise across nbn technologies. Key skills include proactive ownership and case management, empathy, and a customer-first mindset. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management are essential, along with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
The role requires adaptability, time management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams while maintaining care, focus, and professionalism.
