As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Lead within the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), the team member is responsible for managing new product sample demand to support CMBU customers across Micron’s Cloud Server segment, which includes DDR, LPDDR, CXL-attached DRAM, GDDR and HBM based memory products and solutions.

While working with changing priorities and schedules, you will organize the efforts of a cross-functional team, to help ensure successful product introductions to our customers.

NPI Product Leads will drive towards a comprehensive customer sample plan that will ramp into a high-volume product. This person will lead cross functional teams to develop/improve and document business processes that are necessary to ramp a product.

Product Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Driving execution to the established plan, process improvements, internal cross functional communication, and high-volume readiness and implementing, updating and reporting metrics.
  • Develop and maintain models to build top-down sampling needs, manage and communicate change over time and utilize metrics to drive improvements
  • Gather volume requirements for initial and early volume sampling and maintain accuracy in system tools while actively managing change
  • Align with partner organizations such as New Product Organization, Program Management Office, and Product Engineering on the program milestones and associated committed dates for samples and manage the impact that results when changes are made to the aligned dates
  • Coordinate build & shipment priorities in alignment with Marketing priorities, understanding impact due to supply interruptions and prioritization changes across multiple business units
  • Work with manufacturing teams, Marketing, Operations and Sales to identify aged and slow-moving inventory and develop inventory depletion plans.
  • Work cross functionally to identify and drive business process creation or improvements as necessary to support more efficient workflows.
  • Develop and deliver product strategies and updates related to customer qualifications to sales and marketing organizations
  • Define and refine business processes related to samples readiness and communication
  • Develop and maintain a view of customer sample needs and availability,
  • Ensure the readiness of product collateral for field teams– including datasheets, internal test data/reports
  • Establish relevant reporting frameworks and dashboards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor or related industry
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across geo-locations
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualification:

  • Strong Bias for Action & Analytical skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
