C.H. Robinson is seeking a Pricing Specialist to play a key role within our Project Logistics team, supporting bid and quote activities for complex, non‑standard, and high‑value shipments across Europe.
The Project Logistics team focuses on bespoke, one‑off logistics projects, including oversized and specialized cargo. Each quotation is built from scratch and requires careful evaluation of cost, risk, and execution, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys analytical and commercial challenges.
As a Pricing Specialist, you will develop competitive multimodal pricing solutions across air and ocean freight, working closely with internal network teams, shared services, and customers to deliver the best possible solutions.
This role follows a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office to support collaboration and knowledge sharing, combined with flexibility for remote work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage and deliver daily pricing and bid requests, meeting SLAs for new and existing customers
- Execute pricing processes with the network and maintain accurate data in the bid ecosystem
- Review, validate, and submit bid responses and awards
- Support pricing tools and portals, including document setup and administration
- Track and report progress against KPIs and goals
- Act as a go‑to pricing contact, troubleshooting bid and tool issues
- Analyze data to generate insights and support pricing strategies
- Align pricing with operational capacity, including coordination with drayage providers
- Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers, identifying more efficient options when needed
- Develop knowledge of warehouse capabilities, storage constraints, and costs
- Collaborate with sales and pricing teams, join customer pricing discussions, and keep stakeholders informed
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in operations, customer service, and/or pricing within Global Forwarding; Project Logistics experience is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and assess complex scenarios
- Able to work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and demonstrate resilience in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Fluency in Dutch
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Commercial experience within C.H. Robinson and/or external logistical experience
- Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated prioritization, time management, and attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, and ability to prioritize tasks between daily responsibilities
