Premium Floor Supervisor
The Premium Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations across Rogers Centre’s premium clubs and premium dining venues, ensuring the consistent delivery of elevated, hospitality-driven experiences. The role manages premium service staff, oversees venue operations including setup, service delivery, and breakdown, and works collaboratively with the Premium Services Manager and venue partners to meet guest expectations and operational standards across all assigned premium spaces.

The Role
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead premium hospitality staff across assigned premium club and restaurant venues, ensuring consistent service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Manage pre-event opening of premium venues, including setup, equipment checks, inventory verification, beverage stations, food preparation areas, and staff briefings.
- Oversee guest service throughout events, monitoring traffic flow, responding to guest requests, and ensuring all premium venues deliver elevated service and curated experiences.
- Manage post-event closing of premium venues, including inventory audits, consumption reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and restoration of spaces to standards.
- Ensure accurate tracking and recording of food and beverage consumption across all premium venues; reconcile consumption records and support cost-control initiatives.
- Create, implement, and monitor service and upselling incentives to drive team performance and per-capita spending across premium clubs and restaurants.
- Maximize effective deployment of labour by strategically assigning staff across venues based on event attendance, guest flow, and service demands.
- Train and coach premium staff on company policies, service standards, responsible alcohol service, unique offerings of premium venues, and exceptional guest relations.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of premium food and beverage offerings to all club and dining areas.
- Oversee guest inquiries, special requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and a purposeful approach; escalate complex issues to the Premium Services Manager.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of all premium club spaces, dining areas, bars, and adjacent service areas.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, responsible alcohol service regulations, and food safety standards across all assigned venues, address compliance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain excellent guest relations, gather feedback, and support continuous improvement of premium offerings.
- Collaborate with staff and management to generate ideas and implement enhancements to premium experiences, menu offerings, beverage selections, and overall atmosphere.

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-venue operations and diverse teams in a high-end, upscale hospitality environment.
- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to deliver white-glove service and consistently exceed premium guest expectations.
- Outstanding communication and people skills for interacting with diverse guests, premium clients, staff, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple venues and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure during high-volume events while maintaining elevated service quality.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and critical thinking skills, including the ability to manage sensitive situations diplomatically.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory management tools, and basic office applications.
- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute ideas for enhancing premium guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience in premium clubs, fine dining, upscale hospitality, VIP service, or restaurant operations.
- Smart Serve certification and minimum legal serving age as required in Ontario.
- Cash handling and inventory management experience in a high-end service environment.
- Working knowledge of food safety standards; food handler certification is an asset.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service, including wine and premium beverage service, and related regulations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management platforms.
- Strong team-player mentality with demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and leadership skills.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the Rogers Centre event schedule.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing and walking throughout multiple premium venues, dining areas, and supporting spaces for the duration of events.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of supplies, equipment, service items, and products (up to approximately 25–40 lbs).
- Frequent speaking and hearing in busy, multi-venue environments to communicate clearly with guests and staff.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for POS operation, beverage service, handling items, and completing documentation.
- Ability to move efficiently between multiple venues and levels during events and maintain professional appearance and composure throughout extended event hours.
