We are seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate for our Settlements team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely pre-matching & settlement through resolving exceptions and managing fails within tight deadlines (T+1/T+2) by ensuring all regulations, compliance and controls are well followed.

The candidate will be responsible to ensure exceptional BAU handling through liaising with custodies, counterparties & others as applicable. You will support and coordinate with your colleagues and other cross functional teams to ensure effective and efficient handling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Global Settlements operations to achieve operational excellence,
  • Fail reports preparation and monitoring trades, often handling high-volume, deadline-driven,
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards,
  • Managing risk following applicable controls with an aim to accomplish process objectives,
  • Work towards developing strategies to optimize settlements processes and systems,
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct and timely execution of deliverables enhancing solutions and services,
  • Monitor and analyze settlements trends to identify opportunities for improvement,
  • Manage relationships with all key stakeholders involved,
  • Work closely with IT Team for process improvement and automation.

Your profile

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following competencies:

  • Required experience 1-3 years in Post Trade Operations,
  • A post-graduate, preferably a diploma/degree in Business management or comparable certification in capital markets,
  • Knowledge of Swifts, Clearing, Custody-Brokers and Depository framework with applicable global & local compliance and regulations is a plus,
  • Efficient SLA management & turnaround skills,
  • Flexible to suit process requisites with an attention to details mindset,
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills and Eagerness to learn,
  • Effective collaborative skills and a team player,
  • Excellent MS Office & communication skills,
  • Integrity & Professionalism.
