What We’re Looking For:
As a Pool Bartender you'll play a key role in the poolside experience by preparing high-quality beverages and providing excellent service in a vibrant and welcoming setting. Responsibilities include crafting refreshing drinks, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and ensuring smooth bar operations. Strong guest engagement and collaboration with the team are essential to delivering a seamless and enjoyable environment for all.

What You’ll Do:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes.
- Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Greet and engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude, providing personalized service.
- Take drink orders from guests and servers, answering inquiries about menu options.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift, ensuring that all equipment, garnishes, and supplies are ready for service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal.
- Monitor and report inventory levels for beverages, garnishes, and supplies to avoid shortages.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices.
- Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods.
- Foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Includes:
- Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required).
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking.
- Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capability to perform duties in an outdoor environment, adapting to various weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
The wage for this position is $16.90.
