Policy Review and Enhancement Specialist.

We are seeking an experienced Policy Review and Enhancement Specialist to lead a structured review and refresh of our organisational policy framework on a 6 month, fixed-term basis. This role will ensure policies are clear, consistent, legislatively current and aligned with safeguarding, compliance and operational practices.  You’ll review, refine and strengthen our policy suite to support strong governance and organisational accountability.

About the Role

  • Conduct a structured review of the existing policy suite and re-draft, where needed.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen clarity, consistency and usability.
  • Review relevant legislation and standards to confirm currency.
  • Ensure alignment between policy, procedure and governance controls.
  • Strengthen version control and document governance processes.
  • Support stakeholder consultation and feedback processes.
  • Prepare final, executive-ready policy documents.

About You

  • Proven experience drafting and enhancing policies within the Early Childhood sector.
  • Strong legislative interpretation skills.
  • Experience engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance technical compliance with operational practicality.
  • Experience within education, safeguarding, health, disability or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.
