The Plant Manager for the Tesjoki Plant in Finland leads a diverse team with a Safety & Quality First culture. This is a highly visible role which reports to VP Supply Chain and requires interaction with divisional business leaders, Global Supply Chain functional leaders, and peers on the plant leadership team to continuously improve and develop the processes in production, safety, quality, planning, procurement and distribution.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver KPI’s in safety, quality, Service delivery, and cost through execution of key projects, programs, loss reduction, and through engaging 100% of our team toward our vision.

  • Inspire the plant team as you embrace TPM / Lean practices and use your ability to listen and communicate transparently to encourage every single person to think Lean and act proactively to make changes that will save time and reduce manufacturing waste.

  • Lead Autonomous Maintenance pillar activities as a fundamental culture shift in our TPM journey.

  • Strengthen and foster front-line leadership capability, impact, and sustainable operations.

  • Manage the integration of capital projects with cross-functional team and respond to opportunities for process improvements.

  • Integrate business partnership focus in strengthening cross-functional collaboration with Planning, RD&E, Logistics, Suppliers, and Business leaders.

  • Develop the future strategy of the business with your team, delivering against compelling business needs that a true to the business’ heart and the hearts of its customer.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in relevant technical field (chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering preferred.)

  • 5 years+ experience in leadership roles within Ecolab.

  • Proven track record of managing and leading others, delivering change and successfully managing budgets.

  • In depth knowledge, understanding and experience of TPM

  • Extensive experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), ERP and other relevant computer software and systems effectively.

  • Proven track record of managing budgets, financial KPIs and P&L
