Job Function

This role is responsible for the management of the Planning management for medical devices within the company. This role will involve coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations related to health authority, and optimizing planning processes to meet customer needs and company goals.

Main responsibilities

1) Collect and analyze historical data for Demand Consensus Meeting and Sales & Operational Meeting with sales director/management, and product marketing team to support LVN CN business strategy.

2) Based on the company's business forecasts and historical supply data of finished goods from the plant, develop an analytical and data-driven approach to demand forecasts, replenishment plan and inventory plan at SKU level to ensure achievement of LVN CN business goals.

3) Manage day-to-day purchasing activities including place purchase order in SAP in a timely manner, coordinate with Global Supply Chain, HQ Demand Planning and Plant to ensure timely and accurate supply to China.

4) Closely Monitor the supply situation from overseas suppliers, promptly identify supply chain issues, foresee potential supply risk, seek solutions, and drive improvements.

5) Manage reasonable inventory level and excess stock to reduce potential write-off cost.

6) Define, track and analyze key business performance indicators relevant to Planning management, including Forecast Accuracy & Bias, analytics for over/under planning, supply frequency, etc.

7) Support new product launch, registration renewal for existing products, etc. Ensure the finished product supply is delivered according to the plan.

8) Build strong working relationships internally with Product Manager, Sales, RA, QA, Finance, global stakeholders and other related team members to align or well communicate the difference and further solution.

9) Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

10) Implements and ensures compliance with company policies, standards and process in all relevant regulations and standards for medical device, including but not limited to NMPA, Quality, and SOX requirements.

Job Requirements

1) Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Statics, Commerce or a related field.

2) Minimum of 8 years of experience in demand and supply planning in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably have the working experience in the medical device industry.

3) Excellent knowledge and experience in MRP, Sales and Operations Planning, Demand and Supply Management.

4) Having collaborative working experience with Global Logistics teams in medical device industry is a plus.

5) Perfect experience in SAP PP and MM module, familiar with IBP is preferred. Strong analytical skills using Excel and presentation skills.

6) Having knowledge of Python and PBI is a plus. High customer orientation with a focus on reliability and operational efficiency.

7) Having knowledge of logistics in the healthcare industry is a plus. Accountable Strong collaboration and communication skills with key stakeholders as well as service providers.

8) Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated, ability to work under pressure and flexible in handling complex tasks as part of a team.

9) Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.

10) High attention to detail and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
