Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity and contractual compliance throughout the end-to-end operational reporting lifecycle for client performance guarantees. The analyst manages data collection, reporting, and business intelligence services to support informed decision-making, while overseeing financial assessments, forecasting of outcomes, and administration of contract documentation within internal systems. The role requires strong analytical and coordination skills to engage stakeholders and guarantee timely fulfillment of all performance guarantee deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Execute and improve reporting processes by accurately calculating, tracking, and reporting performance guarantee outcomes, and developing reporting solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze performance trends and validate reporting results with stakeholders to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strong data integrity.
  • Conduct financial assessments and forecasting of performance outcomes based on contractual obligations, market trends, and historical data.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to gather reporting requirements and understand contractual obligations.
  • Review financial assessments and ensure timely completion and prioritization of deliverables.
  • Maintain contractual compliance by distributing performance guarantee contract change notifications promptly and accurately.
  • Build collaborative relationships across the organization by providing consultation, analysis, and facilitation services.
  • Serve as the primary contact for performance guarantee inquiries, offering user training, access management, and support for reporting and documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding performance guarantee reporting by researching issues and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
  • Maintain and update the internal performance guarantee system with accurate contract information and ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and communication logs for all performance guarantee activities.
  • Actively participates as a member of cross functional workgroups, teams, and committees, as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

SGA07 - BS/BA and 3+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate to expert Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and structured query language (SQL)
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Client Lifecycle Management tools
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

The following are not required, but are preferred: 

Direct work experience within the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), medical claims, or general healthcare insurance industry, demonstrating a strong foundational business knowledge of industry practices, terminology, and operations.

Work Location

This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders.

Working Hours

This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required.  Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business.  Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
