People Services Support Specialist

Lenexa, KS Full time

Whether you come from a background in hospitality, event planning, office coordination, or customer service, you can be successful in this role. We don’t require a specific degree or experience, but we’re looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. We will provide you with the training and development opportunities needed to build a career here!

About The Role:

As a People Services Support Specialist, you’ll help create a positive, proactive, and people-centered employee experience. This role supports several focus areas across People Services, including culture and events, office and facilities support, and employee engagement. While you may have a primary focus area, you’ll be cross-trained and work closely with teammates to ensure our offices and employees feel supported every day. If you love helping others, staying organized, and being the go-to person who keeps things running smoothly, this could be the role for you.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:

  • Partnering with property management, custodial teams, Security, Facilities, and vendors to coordinate building maintenance and ensure office spaces stay clean, organized, and welcoming.

  • Conducting regular office walkthroughs to identify needs and proactively resolve issues.

  • Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies to keep kitchens, storage areas, and shared spaces stocked and ready.

  • Supporting employee programs and events by assisting with logistics, setup, coordination, and cleanup to create engaging and well-run experiences.

  • Serving as a welcoming first point of contact at the front desk when needed, greeting guests, candidates, and vendors while supporting interview logistics and deliveries.

  • Partnering with leaders and People Services teammates to support onboarding, employee engagement efforts, and workplace needs.

  • Listening to employees and connecting them with the right resources to promote well-being, engagement, and success at work.

  • Pitching in wherever needed to help strengthen the team and culture, excluding licensed activity.

About You:

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are an active listener.

  • You thrive in a highly collaborative work environment and enjoy supporting others.

  • You stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, results-driven setting.

  • You deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for others.

  • You handle confidential and sensitive information with maturity and care.

  • You bring a proactive mindset and look for ways to improve the employee experience.

  • Project management experience is a plus.

  • You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.

  • You have a valid driver’s license, a responsible driving history, and access to reliable transportation.

We always strive to provide friendly service to military homebuyers and their families. And we always seek to lift up people and communities across the country.
