People Operations Analyst

Summary: 

Role Overview

The People Operations Analyst will be a key member of the HR Shared Services team, responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and compliant HR operational support across the employee lifecycle. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Workday HR transactions and the ability to support a globally distributed workforce across multiple regions and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Shared Services

  • Deliver end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, job changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, and offboarding.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries through the HR Shared Services model.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of HR transactions in Workday.
  • Maintain high data integrity and audit readiness across HR systems and records.
     

Workday Transactions & Data Management

  • Execute and manage Workday business process transactions such as hires, job changes, compensation changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Perform data validation, audits, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support mass data uploads, data corrections, and reporting as required.
  • Partner with HRIS and COEs to support system enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
     

Global HR Support

  • Provide HR operational support across multiple geographies (e.g., Americas, APAC (includes India), ensuring adherence to local labor laws and regional policies.
  • Collaborate with regional HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and external vendors to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
  • Support global mobility, global onboarding/offboarding, and cross-border employee movements where applicable.
     

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR).
  • Document and continuously improve HR processes, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and service-level improvements within the shared services environment.
     

Stakeholder & Service Management

  • Deliver a high standard of employee experience through professional, empathetic, and timely communication.
  • Meet defined SLAs and KPIs for HR service delivery.
  • Support HR projects, audits, and cyclical activities such as performance cycles, annual compensation reviews, and reporting.


Essential duties/responsibilities: 

Create data which identifies key analytics to enhance the employee experience, improve operational processes and ensure effective workforce planning Design dashboards and reports and assess usage; enable self-service for the business Partner with leadership, IT, and HR Applications to administer key HR systems and test new functionality Create reports and provide data analytics to the organization Collaborate with key People projects within the team and cross functionally Participate in the Workday Community and build network of peers to share best practices Work with HR business partners on documenting and implementing HR policies to ensure equitable and consistent employee practices Support compensation Analyst with projects, data requests, process, and letter creation Serve as back up on other HR Shared Services functions.

Required Job Skills and Abilities: 

Understanding of key processes across talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and shared services Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills Data-driven and analytical, enjoy identifying metrics to solve business problems Understanding of how to use data for predictive people analysis Understanding of confidential data handling Strong collaborator across HR, Legal, Finance and IT Experience with Workday HCM required.

Required Education and Experience: 

10+ years of progressive work experience in human resources operations and/or shared services Experience with HRIS systems and applications-Workday, ADP, applicant tracking systems Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Bachelor's degree required
