Position Summary You will lead patient engagement and advocacy efforts in India. You will build trusted relationships with patient organisations, healthcare partners, and internal teams. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Develop and implement patient engagement strategies that capture patient needs and inform business and medical plans. - Build and maintain partnerships with patient organisations, community groups, and relevant external stakeholders. - Design and run patient-centered activities such as advisory boards, educational programs, and support services. - Work closely with medical, commercial, market access and compliance teams to align patient initiatives with policy and practice. - Ensure all patient interactions follow legal, ethical and internal guidelines and include clear documentation. - Capture and share patient insights to influence strategy, program design and decision making. This role is based in India and is hybrid, with a mix of office and field work and occasional travel as required. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as pharmacy, life sciences, public health, social sciences, or related discipline. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in patient advocacy, patient affairs, community engagement, or related healthcare role. - Experience working with patient organisations, NGOs or community groups. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; regional language skills are an advantage. - Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships. - Good digital skills and comfort with virtual engagement tools and basic office software. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Advanced degree in public health, health policy, social sciences, or related area. - Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. - Familiarity with health policy, market access or patient support programs in India. - Experience running patient advisory boards, educational campaigns or support programs. - Experience managing third-party vendors or partnerships. - Demonstrated ability to capture and synthesise patient insights to influence strategy.
