SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $80,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead and manage Partnership Activation with oversight of corporate partnership relationships while coordinating the execution, fulfillment, and implementation of all sponsorship assets and promotional elements for venue events. This role serves as the operational bridge between partnerships, sales, event operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Activation Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Partnership Activation function with oversight of existing corporate partnerships
  • Direct resource allocation, personnel management, departmental reporting, and administrative operations
  • Develop team policies, processes, best practices, partner communications, and operational approach with Northwestern Athletics stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and professional development to the Partnership Activation team to maintain high performance and culture
  • Manage departmental growth opportunities while maintaining strong partner relationships

Partnership Strategy & Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with RFGP colleagues and partners secured by the Partnership Sales team to understand partner objectives and priorities, unlocking additional value for partners and the property on an annual basis
  • Participate in ongoing client engagement through in-person meetings, conference calls, and written correspondence
  • Assist in developing partnership proposals and presentations for new business and renewals to ensure deliverables align with partner ROI expectations

Sponsorship & Partnership Fulfillment

  • Execute sponsor and partner deliverables as outlined in contracts and agreements
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation and fulfillment of partnership assets including IP rights, gameday and in-market activations, media placements, hospitality, and special events
  • Oversee execution of partners’ in-venue assets including LED displays, static signage, concourse branding, suites, and promotional placements
  • Manage fulfillment timelines for signage, digital assets, promotions, and in-venue activations

Event & Activation Coordination

  • Coordinate asset deployment for concerts, sporting events, family shows, and special events
  • Manage event-specific promotions, giveaways, and themed activations
  • Attend events to ensure all sponsor and promotional elements are installed, maintained, and executed properly

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Operations, Box Office, Production, and other internal teams to coordinate partnership execution
  • Liaise with external promoters, partners, and vendors to ensure successful implementation of sponsorship plans
  • Proactively coordinate internal teams to ensure readiness for partnership implementation across all event and venue touchpoints

Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory of signage, promotional materials, and branded assets
  • Track usage, condition, and storage of partnership assets
  • Coordinate installation, removal, and updates of venue signage and branded elements

Reporting & Documentation

  • Track fulfillment progress and completion for all partnership agreements
  • Prepare timelines, artwork specifications, creative guidelines, and implementation deadlines
  • Lead processes for consistent documentation, year-long ROI tracking, and customized year-end partnership summaries for current partners
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, deliverables, and execution details

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels to succeed in this position. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, or ability required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years industry experience, including high-level partnership activation experience at the manager level or above with previous people management experience
  • Expert time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines on numerous concurrent projects
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading skills, and a strong ability to communicate both orally and in writing
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office and G Suite products, KORE Software, Photoshop, and third-party research tools
  • Expertise across a variety of digital and social media channels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to establish solid relationships, effectively manage expectations
  • Ability to set priorities and courses of action for multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prepare, understand and monitor activation budgets
  • Understanding of legal processes and ability to comprehend complex partnership agreements
  • Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity
  • Able to work flexible and irregular hours (including evenings, weekends, and special events)
