NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors to teach Mathematics. Part-time faculty may be expected to teach and manage a full course, including lectures and labs with the availability to teach mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed.Essential Duties
INSTRUCTION:
This instructor will teach both developmental and transfer level math courses.
The instructor will facilitate and evaluate student learning, prepare course syllabi and outlines, submit grades by established deadlines and maintain student records in accordance with FERPA.
The instructor will attend meetings and functions of the college and department and complete other duties as assigned by the division dean or department chairs.
Professional development may be encouraged or required in some circumstances.

Rate of pay: $765 per credit hour

Required Qualifications
Master's Degree or higher in Mathematics or Master's degree or higher in a related area and possessing a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics courses could be applied to Master's of Science degree in math.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in higher education
PhD or additional graduate hours in mathematics
