Job Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for leading the Continuous Improvement Lead Team for the Site Site in accordance with Lilly’s Manufacturing Standards for Operational Excellence (MSOE). Create a partnership with site leadership to encourage and foster a culture of continuous improvement, remove barriers, improve processes, ensure project alignment with site priorities and drive cost reduction for the site to meet or exceed goals and targets. Will own the Operational Excellence Roadmap and its sustainability.
The Champion takes accountability for the success of CCI coaches and will work with the area leadership to enable optimal project selection. The Champion will ensure appropriate processes are in place to select, train, coach, develop and manage the pool of CCI coaches under his/her supervision or across the organization. This position has overall responsibility for maintaining and prioritizing a portfolio of potential projects (~1-3M/year), of which the focus should be on business-critical opportunities and challenges. The Champion works with leadership to implement and organize the lean deployment to ensure consistency of projects, including opportunities to replicate across the organization.
The role will apply knowledge of business operations, functional components, and cross-functional processes to develop and execute transformation projects, integrating organizational change management in support of the site business plan and strategic objectives. Plan and deliver on assigned business initiatives that have the potential to be in a wide-variety of areas and across Lilly del Caribe.
Key responsiblities:
Basic Requirements:
BS/MS in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years in managing projects and other initiatives Strong project management and organizational skills, preferred. Dry Products Manufacturing experience preferred.
Black Belt or Scrum Master Certification, preferred. Lean knowledge and experience.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$118,500 - $191,180Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
