About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Support Consultant to join our Global Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Hyderabad. Our Oracle Fusion landscape supports 40+ countries across APAC, EMEA, North America, and LATAM, making this a high‑impact global support position.
The primary responsibility is to support and maintain existing Oracle Fusion technical components, including templates, reports, integrations, e‑invoicing processes, and interface frameworks. In addition to day‑to‑day support, the role will also work on small change requests and may participate in larger global projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Technical Support & Issue Resolution (Primary Focus)
Deliver L2/L3 technical support for Oracle Fusion across 40+ countries and multiple time zones.
Troubleshoot issues related to:
BI Publisher templates
FBDI/HCM/financial interface errors
REST & SOAP API integrations
OTBI/BIP report failures
UCM file transfers and staging table exceptions
Investigate and resolve regional localization issues (tax, statutory fields, formats).
Provide root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
2. Template Maintenance & Localization
Support, modify, and enhance BI Publisher templates across:
GL, AP, AR, FA, CM
Procurement
PPM
Subscriptions
Order Management
RMCS
Ensure templates meet:
Global standards
Local statutory requirements
Branding, language, and formatting conventions
3. E‑Invoicing Support (Multi‑Region)
Support e‑invoicing processes across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America.
Troubleshoot schema validations, rejections, data extraction issues, and statutory updates.
Work with regional Finance and Tax teams for compliance and legislative changes.
4. Integration Support (MuleSoft Collaboration)
Act as the Oracle Fusion technical liaison for all MuleSoft integrations.
Support Oracle-side integration components:
REST/SOAP service enablement
FBDI inbound processes
BI Publisher extracts
UCM interfaces
Help troubleshoot cross‑system issues using payloads, logs, and error reports.
Support testing for integration changes and enhancements.
5. Reports Support & Enhancements
Maintain and troubleshoot:
OTBI reports
BI Publisher reports & data models
Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) reports
Optimise report performance and ensure accuracy across global regions.
6. Support for Small Change Requests
Deliver minor enhancements to existing:
Templates
Reports
Data models
FBDI integrations
API configurations
Participate in scoping, technical impact analysis, and documentation.
Ensure changes are fully tested and deployed following standard change control.
7. Participation in Larger Projects (as needed)
Assist in requirements gathering, technical design, testing, or cutover tasks.
Support global rollouts, new country onboarding, or module enhancements.
Contribute technical inputs for integration, reporting, and data conversion activities.
8. Quarterly Patch Support
Perform technical impact assessment after each Oracle Cloud quarterly update.
Run regression testing and fix patch‑related defects.
Coordinate with global stakeholders on any changes impacting technical components.

These modules are deployed globally across 40+ countries in APAC, EMEA, NA & LATAM.
Required Qualifications & Experience
4–10 years of Oracle Fusion technical experience in a support-heavy role.
Strong hands-on expertise in:
BI Publisher
FBDI, HDL, UCM
Fusion REST & SOAP APIs
OTBI & BIP data models
SQL & PLSQL
Experience supporting integrations via MuleSoft or equivalent middleware.
Familiarity with multi-country tax, localization, and statutory formatting requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of VBS (Visual Builder Studio) and BICC feeds
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a Global SSC or multi‑region support team.
Exposure to e‑invoicing frameworks (APAC/EMEA/LATAM).
Good communication skills and ability to work across global time zones.
Strong problem‑solving, prioritisation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Optional: Experience customising Groovy scripts within the Oracle Subscriptions application (e.g., validations, defaulting logic, billing behaviours, or subscription rule automation).
