About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to support and elevate the day-to-day operations of our Gurgaon office. As a key member of our global Operations team, you will ensure our India location runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with Konrad’s global standards.

You will serve as our on-the-ground operations lead, overseeing facilities, vendor management, security, IT/AV coordination, and the overall employee experience. This role also includes direct oversight of operations staff, ensuring a consistent, high-quality, and welcoming office environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong attention to detail, proven experience managing office environments, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with employees, leadership, and external vendors. You will join a global team committed to collaboration and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to help shape and enhance operations in a growing market.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Gurgaon office, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment through both direct involvement and effective coordination. 
  • Manage facilities, maintenance, cleaning services and space planning to keep the workplace running smoothly.

  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including negotiations, service quality oversight, contract reviews, and compliance management.

  • Coordinate onsite security, access control, visitor management, and emergency response procedures.

  • Ensure adherence to workplace Health & Safety standards and maintain all required documentation and reporting.

  • Act as the onsite IT/AV liaison, supporting equipment setup, troubleshooting, and hardware coordination with global IT teams.

  • Track operational budgets, review vendor invoices, manage procurement, and support the global finance team.

  • Deliver an exceptional employee experience through office onboarding, welcome processes, and local culture-building initiatives.

  • Support local engagement activities and events that foster community and connection.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees’ day-to-day office needs, providing responsive and proactive support.

  • Manage reception and/or operations coordinators, providing clear expectations, hands-on guidance, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive operations experience, ideally in a fast-paced technology, consulting or professional services environment.

  • Strong understanding of facilities management, vendor coordination, security operations, and day-to-day office administration.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
  • Very strong attention to detail. 
  • A proactive problem solver who is equally comfortable with hands-on tasks and broader operational tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with employees, leadership and external partners.

  • Experience managing operational teams is preferred.
