A little bit about our team:
Distribution Operations is responsible for all physical supply chain processes across the entirety of product lines under WMX Distribution. The department’s core focus is to work cohesively with all WMG divisions and departments globally, as well as outside vendors, carriers, and label partners, to ensure that the highest quality of products are distributed to customers in a timely manner. Key functions shared by the Distribution Operations team include inventory management, manufacturing, order fulfillment, compliance, and logistics.
Your role:
The D2C (Direct to Consumer) Inventory Manager is the supply chain liaison between Merch Production and label personnel for all WEA distributed labels. You are at the forefront of product market integration, responsible for coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure our newest releases are readily available on street date. In addition, you are responsible for assisting the department Director with product identification for non-compliant inbound goods to ensure New Release “Merch” products are identified and received within WMX Requirements. This role holds the critical link between physical goods and Ecommerce platforms.
Here you’ll get to:
Manage finished goods inventories for D2C New Release Merch products by assigning and monitoring Purchase Orders and analyzing Sales vs. Inventory Reports.
Manage dropship invoicing of all retail (merch) accounts that are shipped direct-from-print vendors and ensure Internal Audit and SOX requirements are met
Collaborate with the Compliance Director on specialty retail customer requirements.
Check all preorders twice weekly (in Cart.com system) to confirm proper set up, stock availability and order drops. Work with the EComm team to correct any issues and bump release dates as necessary.
Verify audio product street dates and releases are aligned with retail dates.
Request Inventory Cycle Counts for audit and research purposes.
Help Director review that t-shirt receipts daily match to corresponding open POs and investigate any discrepancies with the 3PL warehouse.
Act as Production, Manufacturing, and Label Liaison covering supply chain product related issues including but not limited to recalls, quality control, and deletions.
Research and manage product related issues, initiate changes or corrections for system maintenance required to resolve issues.
Assist the department Director with MES Product Master review and activation process.
Enter Product Specifications within the BOM module; comparing the module to spec sheets and vendor quotes to ensure package details and costs match
Perform a variety of tasks in the Bill of Materials (BOM) Module [including but not limited to price updates, create multi-vendor BOMs, build Specialty BOMs (i.e. Rework and “*components” (*print-only/disc-only) and key POs for all associated builds].
Enter all NR audio POs for product shipping to Ecomm 3PL warehouse partner
Enter all NR audio POs for SKU variants shipping out of both 3PL warehouse partners
Collaborate and cross-train teammates in various systems, including but not limited to the BOM module (i.e. entry, edits, price updates, PO reprints)
Advise Inventory Control on Audio PO vs.Vendor Invoice discrepancies
Work with vendors to update BOM item details and pricing to ensure product specifications and Cost of Product match prior to product shipping from the vendor(s)
Enter and manage stock movement of NR audio between our 3PL warehouse partners. Release product from backorder to ensure delivery in advance of D2C order drop date.

SAP
You have 3+ years Inventory Management experience.
