About the role:
At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, Pool Attendants ensure a seamless and relaxing poolside experience by anticipating guest needs, maintaining impeccably clean and organized pool and deck areas, and monitoring the safety and comfort of all guests. They set up and secure amenities, assist with seating and orientation, restock towels and refreshments, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Security to uphold safety, maintenance, and service standards. Pool Attendants provide warm, intuitive service while responding promptly to guest requests and resolving concerns with genuine care and professionalism.
What you will do:
Anticipate guest needs and deliver warm, intuitive, high‑quality service throughout their pool or fitness center experience.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all pool, jacuzzi, deck, and seating areas, ensuring equipment and amenities are spotless and well‑presented.
Assist guests with seating, provide towels and amenities, and offer information about Residence Club services, facilities, and hours of operation.
Monitor pool and jacuzzi activity to ensure guest safety, enforce facility rules, and follow all safety and first‑aid procedures, including CPR when necessary.
Pick up, stock, and restock towels, refreshments, and other pool amenities; coordinate towel transport with Laundry as needed.
Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and securing amenities, equipment, cabinets, keys, and supplies.
Report equipment malfunctions promptly and collaborate with Engineering to support preventive maintenance.
Use Residence Club computer and phone systems effectively for guest assistance and operational needs; follow proper payroll procedures.
Handle and store pool chemicals safely and in accordance with procedures.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and graciously, ensuring complete satisfaction and communicating resolutions to management.
What you bring:
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Previous food and beverage experience, preferred
San Diego County Food Handlers card and RBS (not required upon hire).
Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role, a valid California Driver's License is necessary
