We are seeking a part-time office administrative assistant for the Headquarters of a growing, multi-unit company in the pet care industry. Must love pets!

 

LOCATION:  Part Time, On-Site (16-24 hrs week) 

REPORTS TO: Executive Assistant 

PAY: $20-24/hr 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in break rooms, conference rooms, and general office space 

  • Track and order office supplies to ensure proper stock 

  • Stock and maintain break room with water, beverages, and snacks 

  • Assist with on-site events, managing catering and conference room technical support 

  • Receive, sort, scan, and distribute mail and packages 

  • Sort and deposit checks 

  • Monitor corporate e-mail inbox and distribute or respond accordingly 

  • Communicate with property manager and maintenance team to take care of any facilities related issues at the DP Support Center 

  • Assist in onboarding new personnel by designating office space, providing necessary office supplies 

  • Manage storage of supplies and assist various departments with shipping 

  • Additional office or administrative duties as needed, including off-site errands 

Qualifications 

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail 

  •  Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task and demonstrate initiative 

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 

  • General comfort level with computers and an ability to quickly learn new software and systems 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal teams 

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms, including spelling, grammar and punctuation 

  • Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

  • Professional and friendly demeanor

Education and Experience 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required) 

Physical Requirements 

  • Work is in an office setting, but position will involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. 

  • May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move heavy objects.
