Shift: Nights 6:45 pm – 7 am
- Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
- 2 long-weekends per month
You Will:
- Lead the team toward meeting or exceeding operational goals; help resolve equipment issues, manage break schedules, understand and communicate schedule changes, plan, assign and direct work, etc. while adhering to safety, quality and site standards.
- Provide coaching and feedback to associates and perform performance management activities.
- Keep accurate paperwork and submit all required paperwork to the proper authority.
- Maintain organized facilities including the placement of all materials in designated locations, including maintaining cleanliness of warehouse and designated plant areas.
- Take physical inventories as directed. Investigate inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Utilize the supplied computer system to perform certain job duties.
- Effectively communicate with other warehouse supervisors and also with production leadership to ensure teams are working together to contribute to the overall success of the site.
- Maintain ownership of training for associates on shift; including but not limited to new hire training, compliance training and new procedure training.
- Participate in site programs including but not limited to; find it, fix it program involving inventory, near misses and safety one-on-ones. See necessary corrective actions through to closure and document accordingly.
- Have in-depth knowledge of policies related to safety, GMP, WCP, and all applicable supervisory guidelines.
- Communicate with customers and transportation vendors when circumstances require.
- Operate forklift safely, following all quality procedures, and with regard to pedestrians and other lifts, in open and tight areas.
You Have:
- Associates degree in relevant major and/or 3-5 years of relevant warehousing experience (preferably in manufacturing environment)
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Previous demonstrated leadership skills and/or roles
- Able to multitask in a faced-paced environment
- Possess strong safety focus
- Technically oriented and knowledgeable in manufacturing systems
- Strong Decision making skills with limited information
- Independent thinker and effective troubleshooter
- Ability to meet all Material Handler Requirements
- Prior experience in warehousing operations and forklift operations
- Prior experience in continuous improvement
