Responsibilities:
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot network problems, including hardware and software issues.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve connectivity issues.
Assist in configuring and installing network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Support the setup and maintenance of wireless networks.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Generate reports on network performance and incidents.
Assist in implementing network security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Ensure network compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Work closely with senior network engineers and other IT staff to support network projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Associate's degree in a related field.
0-2 years of experience in a related field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
FAA Class III Medical Certification required. Candidates without current certification must obtain it prior to hire
Ability to complete Altitude Chamber training and qualification
Basic understanding of network protocols and services [e.g., Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)].
Familiarity with networking switching equipment and systems.
Familiarity with wireless and Virtual Private Network (VPN) implementations.
Familiarity with AI in troubleshooting network issues.
An Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
Experience with SWAN technologies.
Exposure to network security practices and tools.
Hands-on experience with a wide variety of network related tools, concepts, technologies, best practices and security procedures.
Hands-on experience with network hardware, protocols, and media including but not limited to Fiber Optics and Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP).
Knowledge of Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), DNS, DHCP, and wireless.
Hands on experience with network hardware - installing, configuring and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with network automation platforms.
Conceptual understanding of zero trust networking principles.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly.
Work primarily at a computer for extended periods.
Frequent use of hand/finger dexterity for computer work.
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
Occasional travel may be required.
The ability to participate in afterhours on-call duties.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $64,853.15 - $89,173.08. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
