Role: National Pricing Data Analyst – US Orthopedics

The National Pricing Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the US Orthopedics business by owning and continuously improving national and regional pricing data, contracts, and analytics. This role acts as a business owner for pricing processes within ERP, Salesforce - CPQ and associated systems, ensuring data accuracy, contract integrity, and actionable insights to drive profitable growth.
The role requires strong analytical capability, system/process ownership mindset, and the ability to translate complex pricing data into business-relevant insights.
What will you be doing?
- Pricing Process Ownership & Improvement: Act as business owner for pricing-related Salesforce - CPQ processes, driving continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of workflows. Partner with IT and commercial stakeholders to enhance system usability, data quality, and pricing governance controls. Ortho Master Catalogue, SOPs, RACI and Procedure Code (Procedure billing reference)
- Ownership & Maintenance: Own and maintain the Orthopedics master product catalogue, pricing SOPs, RACI, Procedure Code and other documentation. Lead implementation and governance of list price increases, ensuring accurate product mapping, pricing logic, system updates, and communication to downstream commercial processes.
- Distributor Pricing & Contract Ownership: Manage and govern distributor pricing structures and contracts, ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and compliance with approved pricing strategies and commercial policies.
- Gap Analysis of Existing Pricing Contracts: Perform gap analysis on national and regional contracts to identify pricing leakage, inconsistencies, and non-standard structures. Highlight risks and opportunities to Pricing Leadership and Commercial teams.
- Cost and Margin Analysis of Existing Contracts: Conduct margin and profitability analysis on active contracts, supporting decision-making around renewals, concessions, and pricing strategies. Provide financial insights to balance competitiveness and margin protection.
- Parent–Child Facility Mapping for US Ortho Customers: Ensure accurate parent-child customer hierarchy mapping within pricing and contracting systems. Partner with Sales Operations and Commercial teams to maintain clean and reliable customer master data.
- National and Regional Pricing Analytics & Reporting: Develop and deliver national and regional pricing analytics, BI dashboards, and ad-hoc insights. Support leadership with data-driven views on pricing performance, contract utilization, and market trends.
- One-Time Discount Processing & Governance: Own end-to-end processing and tracking of one-time price discounts. Ensure approvals, documentation, and audit trails are maintained in line with pricing policy and compliance standards.
- Sales Deal Expiration Management: Own tracking and governance of expiring sales deals and pricing agreements. Proactively monitor deal end dates, trigger renewal or re-pricing actions, and partner with Sales and Contracting teams to minimize revenue leakage and ensure continuity of compliant pricing.
- Open Orders Pricing Discrepancy Management: Monitor and resolve pricing discrepancies on open customer orders. Investigate root causes, coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to correct pricing issues, and ensure orders align with approved contracts, and discount structures.
What will you need to be successful?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or business / MBA in finance/ CA inter/ Cost Accountants preferred
- Licenses/ Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Salesforce, Power BI, or Commercial Analytics certifications preferred
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in pricing operations, commercial analytics, contract management, or revenue management within a US-based MedTech, Pharma, or complex B2B organization.
- Strong exposure to CPQ systems, contract structures, and large commercial datasets.
- Experience supporting US healthcare or distributor-based business models preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and data modelling capability
- Experience with Salesforce - CPQ, CRM, Contract Management Tools and ERP systems
- Ability to translate data into business insights
