The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy’s North America HUB to build the operational capability that powers a sustainable energy future. In this people‑leader role, you will orchestrate impactful training programs across multiple factories and operational functions—HSE, Quality, ITM, Supply Chain, and Planning & Fulfillment. You’ll translate real shop‑floor needs into practical learning that improves safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while enabling teams to adopt new ways of working at scale.
As the program owner, you’ll align stakeholders, set cadence, and remove roadblocks so initiatives land consistently from site to site. You’ll guide a team of Instructional Designers to produce clear, hands‑on materials—blended learning, digital modules, and job aids—that stick. You’ll measure what matters, use data to iterate, and turn feedback into continuous improvement.
This is a highly visible role for a builder who thrives on structure, clarity, and execution. If you love connecting strategy to the shop floor, empowering people, and making change durable, this opportunity is for you.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead LNAs/TNAs across HSE, Quality, ITM, SCM, P&F, and T&D.
Manage end‑to‑end deployment plans with timelines, risks, and communications.
Coordinate across factories and functional owners to keep initiatives on track.
Maintain program documentation and track milestones for transparency.
Lead Instructional Designers to create accurate, shop‑floor‑ready content.
Grow blended learning: digital modules, job aids, and on‑the‑job coaching.
Enable factories to adopt programs and sustain execution through coaching.
Use data and feedback to monitor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your back‑ground
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Organizational Development, Operations, or related field.
5+ years in L&D, training, operational capability‑building, or manufacturing leadership.
Hands‑on experience conducting LNA/TNA and turning insights into training requirements.
Proven program/project management, ideally across multi‑site deployments.
Experience leading Instructional Designers or content development teams.
Familiarity with HSE, Quality, Production/Maintenance, SCM, ITM, or P&F; LMS/SAP exposure is a plus.
