Role Description
- Highly skilled technical individual contributor responsible for design, development, automation and production support MS-SQL database encryption solutions. Leads end to end scripting, integration with Key Management Systems such as Ciphertrust Manager(CM). Ensures secure, scalable and audit compliant encryption deployments across environments. Act as tech specialist for troubleshooting of encryption related incidents and driving permanent fixes.

Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimize MS-SQL encryption & key management related scripts and utilities.
- Implement and manage database encryption solution integrated with KMS platforms.
- Lead end to end encryption scripts deployment across DEV, UAT and PROD environments.
- Troubleshot encryption related incidents and perform RCA.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, Database Services and vendors as and when needed for issue diagnosis, customizations and enhancements.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbook and operational readiness standards.
Your skills and experience
- Strong expertise in MS-SQL Server scripting and administration around 6 to 10 years
- Sound knowledge and experience with PowerShell or T-SQL scripting. Knowledge of Python would be beneficial.
- Knowledge around TDE / Database encryption and integration with KMS systems
- Log analysis and troubleshooting of encryption related issues.
- Understanding of windows server clustering / Always On.
- Automation and agile approach to meet business critical timeline.
- Beneficial to have knowledge around Key lifecycle management and security framework.
