Hourly wage: $41.71 CAD until April, then it will be $42.96 CAD. Once 1 year is completed in the role, the employee will transition to full rate which is $45.02.
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm days.

As a Millwright Mechanic you will assume responsibility for performing maintenance activities, including equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, new construction, preventative maintenance, equipment startup, and testing. This role requires on‑call and overtime availability.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment using mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and instrumentation skill sets.
• Repair and replace mechanical components including fixtures, agitators, pumps, motors, and corn‑handling equipment.
• Observe, test, and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical devices to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
• Maintain accurate documentation in SAP, including work orders, timelines, and components used.
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and organization standards, including maintaining a 5S‑compliant work environment.
• Certificate of Qualification as a licensed Industrial Millwright/Mechanic (433A/Red Seal Journeyperson).
• Good standing with the College of Trades.
• Minimum 1 year of experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to interpret technical data and drawings.
• Welding (stick/TIG) and pipefitting experience considered assets.
• Ability to adapt to technological changes in equipment and facility structures.
• A safety‑focused, customer‑oriented technician committed to delivering reliable and high‑quality services to internal partners.
• A strong communicator and collaborator who works effectively across teams.
• A proactive problem‑solver with solid planning, organizing, and reporting abilities.
