Role Summary:
The Medical Business Operations position oversees strategic & operational management, advice and quality assurance to the Medical Department. It is responsible for training programs, budget management and operational excellence, supporting the Medical Planning execution and the KPI’s tracking. This role is the main point of contact for México, which works cross-functionally and interacts significantly across the internal matrix, with external suppliers and stakeholders as required.

Achieve medical plan and reach operational budget target projection for local markets within regional timelines.
Ensure medical planning and execution:
Coordinator for non-promotional medical event for all the therapeutic areas
Support & Tracing Medical non-promotional Events
Support in pre-launch & launch key activities
Ensure the sponsorships projections and Scientific Booth nominations, and their correct execution
Registration of the activities and their documentation in Interact.
Manage & support Medical non-promotional Events and Ensure the timely execution of sponsorships in line with Congress Management & EMCoE guidelines.
Plan & execute strategic information: Metrics - KPI's - Identification of new metrics - Monthly reports & analysis
Ensure medical planning and execution: Successfully launch new medicines and indications support, Supervise ISR's and Grants Processes, Support MAP/PAA execution.
Upload the Medical Materials in PromoMats and ensure their approval.
Accelerate company evolution through enterprise-wide approach to digital innovation: Ensure LatAm representation in global/Intercon digital projects and roll out in the regional markets - Digital Transformation. Manage & supervise initiatives / Projects that affect local medical teams: Best practice tracking
Ensure the successful embedding/updating of key SOPs & Directives and coordinate/implement new processes as relevant, working with ethics and compliance & BCF areas
Give support in Data generation/Publications processes (WWM, HEOR/Market Access)
Support with onboarding new hires: platforms/systems access + trainings. Responsible of training programs.
Establish & guarantee successful connectivity with satellite areas, supporting areas & stakeholders: Clinical Research, Regulatory, Commercial Department, Pharmacovigilance, Access, etc; consistent collaboration with Regional Business Operation Team & strategic operational collaboration with local CMD.
Support Audit processes
Support with onboarding of new hires
Plan & organize internal medical training
Support/Organize LatAm Medical Meetings / Country Medical Meetings / Post-Congress Meetings / Training-Workshop forums / etc.
Support/organize LatAm Market Visits of IC / Global Medical users.
Collaboration with country Bus Ops and alignment of the team to have unified LatAm strategy and vision, consolidate the LatAm way of working, setting priorities, correct use of BMS tools – enhance cross-country collaboration (LatAm S&O)
Collaborate with the LatAm Medical S&O strategy and with the country Business Operations to enhance cross-country collaboration (Local B&O)
Support commercialization model implementation
Required qualifications & experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or health sciences (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience supporting or leading projects (planning, execution, tracking, and cross-functional coordination).
Highly organized and motivated individual possessing excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
