Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compliance-driven expert to be the global lead for Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) quality, learning & development. This role is responsible to ensure that delivery by our Global Occupier Services IFM staff meets industry best practice quality standards including ISO 9001 as well as quality related regulatory requirements, where applicable. The individual will also provide leadership and expertise to ensure that role-specific learning & development plans and associated content are developed, certified, updated, and delivered to our IFM staff to ensure competency and compliance.

This role could require travel of 25-50%.

Job Description

Quality & Compliance Management

  • Lead effort to secure and grow IFM 9001 quality certifications
  • Develop and maintain the global IFM Quality Management System (QMS) including quality manual, playbook, SOPs, work instructions, and other documentation in alignment with quality systems, standards, and best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
  • Manage change control, continuous improvement, management reviews, and other relevant IFM quality related processes, ensuring proper documentation, assessments, and follow-up actions are taken and meet timing requirements.
  • Support other client driven quality needs as required.

Learning and Development

  • Update, develop, and maintain learning and development strategies for global and regional IFM, as required.
  • Lead the IFM organization to be recognized in the industry and by clients as a leader in IFM learning and development.
  • Lead the development, sourcing, and deployment of IFM learning for areas of responsibility to ensure staff have the competencies required to fulfill their duties to be compliant and meet client needs and expectations.
  • Mentor key staff to accelerate the deployment of IFM related learning & development across the company to improve performance, client retention, and growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with account IFM teams to ensure seamless operations which meet quality requirements appliable to our contracted scope.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to site teams and service providers in the areas of job responsibility.
  • Work with other C&W business units for global alignment on a common framework to quality, learning, and development

Other

  • Support new business strategies with an emphasis on identified target clients.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of client satisfaction, delivering key initiatives and well as ensuring consistency in processes, reporting and operational delivery. 
  • Consult with clients on changing industry trends/projections/budget planning/etc.
  • Identify opportunities for delivery, service quality, innovation, and process improvement on an on-going basis.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts to secure new IFM business.
  • Establish and implement standard processes and best practices that maximize efficiencies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required in a concentration relevant to quality or learning & development
  • 15+ years in the outsourced facilities management industry with majority involving individual and leadership experience in quality, learning & development
  • Experience with complex facility and engineering operations and IFM relationships requiring compliant provider delivery and management to conform to global quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in developing learning & development plans for teams and individuals as well as sourcing, developing, and delivering content
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required.
  • Strong competency in strategic planning, execution, and business acumen
  • Competency in resource allocation and Implementation
  • Accomplished relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities required.
  • Team strategic development and leadership experience

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 212,500.00 - $250,000.00
