Join our team as the Materials Management Planner in Ellwood City, PA. This role will be responsible for the management of raw material suppliers to support production within our North America network. This position will have the opportunity to help develop strategies aligned to the deliverables of strengthening our resilience, driving better performance and value from our suppliers, and delivering solutions that enable us to service the customer by reducing failures from raw materials.
The successful candidate must be a self-directed achiever, possess a strategic mindset, and be an excellent cross-functional collaborator and communicator. The role will report to the Senior Planning Manager for North America Planning as part of our Nalco Water Global Supply Chain. This role will be based in Ellwood City, PA with a hybrid work schedule.

What You Will Do:
- Partner with suppliers to manage tight raw materials. Tight raw materials are defined as materials with supply chain challenges e.g., force majeure, market tightness, logistics constraints, etc.
- Develop supplier partnerships to ensure open communication regarding supply disruptions, raw material forecasting, planned shutdowns, and material allocations.
- Partner with Procurement on supplier business reviews.
- Partner with Planning, Procurement, OBL, and sites to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Partner with Procurement and sites on sourcing strategies and material resiliency.
- Drive raw material readiness for insource & outsource initiatives.
- Drive Inventory Health initiatives to ensure we continuously optimize inventory.
- Execute master data management e.g., safety stocks, lead times, MOQ., etc.
- Support raw material loss analysis to drive efficiencies and/or savings.
- Govern network key performance indicators (KPIs) with sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably inventory management or master planning with global operations
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency with common ERP systems, specifically Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP).
- Position requires a high-level proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related degree
- Advanced degree
- A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of the organization.
- APICS Certification.
- Experience in SAP
- Experience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean 6 sigma, continuous improvement, etc.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $65,800.00 - $98,700.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
