The Master Control Operator supports all technical and operations workflows within the Broadcast Operations area. This includes the assembly and playout of live and non-live networks.
This role is part of the Media Operations team, which is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. In short, we bring great FOX content to YOU!
This operator must be available and willing to work overnight shifts as part of a regular schedule, as well as weekends and holidays as required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES
Media Ingest, Assembly & Distribution
Provides support for quality control, processing, assembly, playout, and distribution activities for pre-programmed and live content
Plays a key role in the technical workflows to support distribution across linear and Over the Top (OTT) delivery
Will be responsible for on-air switching and running master control automation playlists in both multicast and live sports environments
Collaboration & Partnerships
Supports Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams
Partners with Live Media and other Media Operations teams and steps in to help in other areas as needed
Works closely with all business units and provides world class customer service support.

SCHEDULE
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including overnights, weekends, holidays, etc. Overnight shifts are a key part of this role, ensuring smooth, reliable broadcasts by monitoring signals and resolving issues in real time.
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
A Bachelor’s Degree is awesome, but not required
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range, and HDR10+ is a plus
Knowledge of industry standards such as Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $28.75-31.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
