The (Senior) Product Manager plays a critical role in shaping and sustaining product’s market position by defining strategic direction and ensuring strong execution across the product lifecycle. This role owns brand strategy and performance, drives strategic decision-making, and leads cross-functional collaboration and partnerships to deliver business impact and long-term growth.
[ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES]
This position reports directly to Viatris Korea Marketing Manager/TA Lead and closely works with other product/project manager(s) leading business as well as other related functions (e.g. sales, medical, legal, public affairs & policy, etc). This position is supervised by Viatris Korea Marketing Manager/TA Lead for his/her further development.
Strategic Brand Planning: Lead the development and execution of the annual Integrated Brand Plan (IBP), setting clear KPIs and long-term vision to maximize market share and patient reach through in-depth market and competitive analysis.
Financial Accountability: Manage the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget and take full responsibility for P&L performance, ensuring high ROI on marketing investments.
KOL & Stakeholder Management: Identify and build strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical societies to secure scientific advocacy and clinical support for the brand.
Innovative Strategic Planning: Lead the development of strategy and tactical plans with innovative thinking.
Cross-functional Leadership: Orchestrate collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Sales to ensure seamless product launches and optimal reimbursement conditions.
Insight-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market trends, patient flows, and competitive intelligence to identify unmet medical needs and pivot strategies in a dynamic healthcare landscape.
Sales Excellence Support: Develop high-quality promotional materials and lead training sessions for the sales force to ensure consistent and impactful delivery of core brand messages.
Omnichannel Execution: Design and implement innovative omnichannel marketing campaigns, leveraging digital health tools and traditional face-to-face engagements to optimize the customer journey.
[QUALIFICATIONS]
Education: Biology/pharmacy related degree or experience from similar positions or MBA degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. (New product launch experience preferred)

- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and exceptional project management skills to drive complex initiatives.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal) to ensure effective communication with global teams.
- Advanced financial and analytical acumen for efficient budget management and performance tracking.
- Strategic and decisive mindset, capable of conducting effective scenario planning and making optimal decisions under uncertainty.
- Results-driven with an agile mindset and strong time management skills.
