We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Department in Langley, BC.  

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting the Save-On-Foods brand team for go to market strategies and executions across value and quality and promotional strategies.   In this role, you will support and execute brand building, marketing, promotional for the Pattison Food Group (PFG) and liaise with brand marketing, marketing services and external agency partners while also building strong partnerships with our merchandising teams.


You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and agencies to develop effective campaigns and communications to drive results.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders (e.g., merchandising, creative, production, marketing, stores, suppliers) to ensure effective communication and implementation of promotional plans including facilitating cross-functional project teams, leading portions of project meetings, and consolidating feedback.
  • Liaising with internal and external creative teams to develop effective omnichannel campaigns and communications that drive consumer action, for both annual/recurring and net-new initiatives.  
  • Integrating ideas and feedback from all internal and external resources regarding new marketing concepts and programs for banners.
  • Managing and executing day-to-day marketing programs including brand plans, media planning, creative/messaging, consumer promotions and merchandising for the needs of PFG banners.
  • Supporting store-level execution by coordinating with Store Managers and regional teams to ensure consistent implementation of displays, promotions, and localized marketing.
  • Assisting with post analysis of programs to ensure objectives are achieved & provide recommendations to improve marketing programs.
  • Assisting in tracking and reporting weekly and monthly KPIs.
  • Supporting with other projects and tasks as required.

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business (preferred), MBA is considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a marketing role in a client or agency setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software systems.
  • The ability to travel to retail stores within Western Canada on an as needed basis.
  • Experience in retail or ecommerce marketing and an understanding of the digital customer journey is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$66,292.00 - $82,865.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
